Rick Ross Continues Feud With 50 Cent

Posted on 21st April 2009 in Feuds & Fights, Hip Hop

Rick Ross lays 50 Cent to rest in his upcoming video for ‘In Cold Blood,’ off his third studio album, ‘Deeper Than Rap.’ Ross released a trailer for the rick-rossvideo this past weekend and it’s pretty clear that the track (and video) is aimed at his recent rival.

The Miami boss attends a funeral for the Queens, NY rapper, who is known for his constant “beefs.” This time around 50 may have met his match as Ross continues to respond to attacks with intense verbal and, in this case, visual assaults.

But the ongoing beef may be over soon. In a recent interview, Ross admitted that his battle with 50 was becoming “boring” and that a battle with Eminem would be more entertaining. And in a possible attempt to get Em’s attention, Ross told DJ Envy that he’s not a fan of the Detroit rapper’s video for his comeback single ‘We Made You.’

“His swag ain’t the same, though,” he said, adding that he was just giving an opinion. “We not dissing. We’ll never dis. [The video] was funny. This time I’m not gonna be critical because I’m a fan. But I see the swag ain’t the same.”

Ross’ new album ‘Deeper Than Rap’ hits stores tomorrow (April 21).

Lil Kim: Back In Music Mix with Charlie Wilson

The folks over at HipHollywood.com went behind the scenes of Lil Kim‘s newest music video (which samples Zapp & Roger‘s classic hit ‘Computer Love’), titled ‘Download,’ featuring T-Pain and the legendary Charlie Wilson.

The former Gap Band frontman, who was featured on the song’s original sample decided to resurrect the 1980s classic with a slight touch of his ‘Outstanding’ vocals mixed with Queen Bee’s persuasive lyrics.

In between studio sessions for her forthcoming as-yet-untitled album, Kim has been busy rehearsing for ABC’s popular dance competition ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ The show has proven that the pint size rapper can captivate a mainstream audience without having any material on the radio. Which seems to be apart of her “new flavor” as she told ‘MTV News’ earlier this year.

“I’m getting ready to come with a whole new flavor, a whole new style,” she revealed about her album. “And I don’t care what nobody says, I’m not gonna let anyone pigeonhole me. This is what it is. I’m coming with it…I’m gonna be singing, I’m gonna be flowing. Whatever I feel. It’s not gonna be so strategic or placed. It’s gonna be whatever I feel. I’m gonna have fun on my next album. It’s coming soon. Really soon.”
